A story of twins. 

Prabhu(Dhanush) and Kathir (Dhanush) are twins.Kathir is mentally unstable...A Psycho..Kathir runs away from his home in his childhood after series of events..

After many years, Prabhu now is a married man and a working professional. He has a daughter...Life goes happily for Prabhu until his daughter starts to behave differently.... She speaks to someone alone in her room in the night where actually nobody exist. Is it because of a ghost/spirit or is she imagining things? what is the reason for her changed behavior? Prabhu has no choice but to accept the demand of Manu. Who is Manu? What does Manu want from Prabhu?  That's Naane Varuven.

Yuvan Shankar Raja background score is a  strength for Naane Varuven. 

As Prabhu and Kathir, Dhanush has performed well. Prabhu is normal. Kathir is mentally unstable. Dhanush has carried the characteristics of both the characters and has performed well. 

An Important Kadhapathiram in Naane Varuven...Hiya Davey has performed well.

Dhanush and Hiya Davey are key performers. 

Yogi Babu is mildly humorous...

 Induja, Elli AvrRam and Prabhu play their roles functionally as a part of the Screenplay...

First half is Engaging 

Second half is a bit predictable. 

Naane Varuven had the Dejavu of Alavandhan, Kadhal konden and the exorcist.
