Director Sukumar and Allu Arjun are back with a Bang. Pushpa 2 The Rule is Excellent. Engaging and Entertaining.
SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat(Fahadh Faasil) camouflages as one of the smugglers and arrests a bunch of smugglers from the Forest where a consignment has been planned. Pushpa (Allu Arjun) goes to Police Station and releases them by bribing police officers in Bhanwar singh's absence where the police officers go to the extent of resigning their jobs since they are attracted to Pushpa's offer. This triggers the ego of Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. Arrest of smugglers and the Police station scene has been made well.
Sidappa (Rao Ramesh) takes Pushpa to meet CM Narasimha Reddy(Adukalam Naren). Since Pushpa is going to meet CM, Srivalli(Rashmika Mandanna) requests Pushpa to take a Photograph with CM. CM Narasimha Reddy avoids a photograph with Pushpa as he is a smuggler and due to which he thinks it could lead to political backlash. He also insults Pushpa saying that he shouldn't listen to his wife's words. Pushpa calls Siddappa and vows him that he will make Sidappa as Next Chief Minister by raising 500 crores. CM meeting scene has been made well.
Pushpa strikes a deal with Central Minister Pratap Reddy(Jagapathi Babu) and meets an international buyer in Maldives to sell 2000 tons of red sanders for 5000 crores. Deal with Prathap Reddy and the Maldives scene has been made well.
To give Fear to syndicate and Pushpa, Bhanwar Singh Shekawat seizes goods and murders Bitcha Reddy, one of the members of the syndicate. Mangalam Srinu and Dakshayani try to use it as an opportunity to bring Syndicate under their control.
Since there is a cold war going on between Pushpa and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Sidappa wants to put an end to it..Sidappa's perception is there has to be a tie up between police department and Smugglers to smoothly smuggle goods...He meets Bhanwar Singh..Bhanwar Singh wants Pushpa to ask him a Sorry... Not just to him privately but in front of syndicate members... Unwillingly Pushpa acceps to ask Sorry to Bhanwar Singh...A Meeting is arranged where Syndicate members arrive... Pushpa says sorry to Bhanwar singh in a drunken mode...But Minutes later he comes back revoking back his sorry... He insults Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat by dashing him inside a swimming pool and pees on it..This leads to enmity between Pushpa and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat again...This sequence has been made well...
Pushpa Challenges Bhanwar Singh, Mangalam Srinu and Dakshayani that he would smuggle 2000 Tons of Red Sanders. Pushpa vows to them saying that if his goods get caught he would become a coolie again. How Pushpa manages to smuggle 2000 tons of goods has been shot well in the movie. Pushpa buys MLA's. Pushpa proves that he is a King maker. He takes a photograph with the New Chief Minister who is none other than Sidappa.
Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat catches goods assuming to be Red Sanders only to later know that they are not red sanders. They are Sandra which looks like Red Sanders which is of no value actually.
Having an Intel that goods have been moved to Tamilnadu, Bhanwar Singh tries to track and trace the goods which is now in Rameshwaram. The goods are moving to Sri Lanka now. Bhanwar Singh takes a Motor boat to catch them but is stopped in borders by Sri Lankan navy. The smuggled boats were allowed because they are Fishing boats. Goods were tied to the boats which were beneath the water.
Sri Valli becomes pregnant. Pushpa celebrates it. For the goodness of the baby, Pushpa takes up the Gangamma Thalli Jathara Ritual. Pushpa wants Sri Valli to give birth to girl baby than a boy baby because if a girl is born she can get a New inti Peru after her marriage. Pushpa cries out of pain for not having inti Peru for himself. Be it Allu Arjun who dressed up like a woman for the ritual or be it the set work for the Festival sequence or be it the Cinematography of Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, the entire sequence has been made well..Excellent. Gangamma Thalli Jathara Ritual created a spiritualistic impact like Kantara. Few goons who dressed up as women, misbehave with Kaveri (Pavani Karanam), niece of Pushpa. Pushpa bashes those goons and punishes them with Karumbulli Sembulli. Molleti Mohan Raj(Ajay), Pushpa's elder half-brother humiliates Pushpa saying that he can't be accepted in his Family. Srivalli argues with Molleti Mohan Raj that Pushpa doesn't require a Family name as his Name itself is a brand in Chithoor & Tirupathi district. Rashmika Mandanna has performed well in the scene...
Few days later Kaveri goes missing and is kidnapped by those goons who misbehaved with her in the Gangama Thalli Festival. Prathap Reddy reveals to Sidappa that Kaveri has been kidnapped by Bugga Reddy(Tarak Ponnappa) , who is none other than nephew of Prathap Reddy. To avoid enemity, Prathap Reddy asks Pushpa to compromise with Bugga Reddy. Bugga Reddy asks for 10 crores from Pushpa and asks him to come alone. When Pushpa reaches the venue, Bugga Reddy ties Pushpa through his men and tries to Rape Kaveri to seek revenge for what happened in the festival. Although tied up, Pushpa uses his teeth as a weapon and fights with goons. As if Possesed by Gangamma Thalli, Pushpa starts to kill goons one by one who tried to rape Kaveri lastly reaching Bugga Reddy. Kogatam Subba Reddy (Adithya Menon), Father of Bugga Reddy and Kesava (Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari) reach the venue to stop Pushpa from killing Bugga Reddy which could lead to enmity between Prathap Reddy and Pushpa. However, Pushpa becomes Ferocious and kills Bugga Reddy like a Vadha. Pushpa not just kills Bugga Reddy, he also kills Kogatam Subba Reddy who tries to take revenge on pushpa for his son's death. He Finally Saves Kaveri.
After few months, Molleti Mohan Raj visits Pushpa's Home for the First time seeking apology for his behaviour in the past. He has hurted and insulted Pushpa many times in the past. He seeks apology for it. He invites Pushpa for Kaveri's wedding. He gives the First invitation to Pushpa mentioning Pushpa's name in the invitation thereby accepting Pushpa as his Family member. Both the Families Unite in Kaveri wedding.
Climax ends on a Happy note where Pushpa is accepted by his Family members. Also Director gives Lead to Part 3 called as Pushpa 3: The Rampage

Sree Leela Rocks through her dance in Kissik song.
Kissik Kissik word has been anchored well in the Screenplay connecting it with Narasimha Reddy, Sidappa and Kissik song.
Pushpa 2 is Bigger and Better when it comes to Production values and making.

Stunt sequences have been made well...Jathara fight sequence and the climax fight sequence has been made well.
Minus:
1. Engaging Screenplay but a bit Lengthy...
2. Why Sukumar kept a Fight scene in Japan port in the beginning of the movie? Although Sukumar gives an explanation in the Screenplay that it is a nightmare connecting it with Pushpa's Success, pain and flashback, it was aloof.
3. Climax Fight sequence was a bit overboard and illogical...
4. Ajay's performance in the apology scene wasn't natural. It could have been better.
5.Both Pushpa and Pushpa 2 glorifies Smuggling and Corruption.
Overall, an Engaging Entertainer where Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil Rocks the show!!!

Shreya Goshal's Beautiful voice and energetic beats of Devi Sri Prasad make Sooseki beautiful.
Tune and beats are catchy. Voice of Nakash Aziz and Deepak blue is Masculine and effective. Between 2.29s and 2.40s Allu Arjun dance steps are simple and elegant. Could be an Intro song for Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2 The Rule.
