A Futuristic Entertaining Romantic Comedy with a Social message from Vignesh Shivan where the Production values are Rich. LIK is Entertaining but doesn't create an Impact emotionally. Pradeep Ranganathan, SJ Suryah and Krithi Shetty are key performers.

The plot of LIK happens in 2040...In 2040, there are two types of world in chennai...The First type... Gadget world... Majority of people live with Technology and Gadgets... They rely on Technology, Social Media and advanced AI Apps...Then there is a place called Organic world, a rehabilitation centre where people are trained to live without mobile phones or gadgets and live with nature. Children and people who have gadget addiction and people who commit social media crimes are brought to organic world and are trained to live without phones or gadgets...
Suriyan(SJ Suryah) a Techie Entrepreneur, creates an AI App and a company called as LIK-> Love Insurance Kompany. It's a Love App... Suriyan makes people believe that his App is Hundred percent right...
Chennai Senate sees LIK App as a Threat to privacy. Chennai senate passes an order... If LIK hits 50 million subscribers or followers within one year, Suriyan can continue to run his LIK App...If the number of subscribers or followers decrease, the App would be banned. Suriyan obeys and agrees to Senate judgement.
Vasu known as Vibe Vassey(Pradeep Ranganathan) is from Organic world. He falls in Love with Dheema(Krithi Shetty) who is a nomophobic. Dheema always relies on LIK app. In order to increase subscribers or followers for his LIK App, Suriyan comes up with the idea of Quantum computing for his Love App where he brings in Love compatibility score... He introduces it as a New feature...
Vasu and Dheema love each other... However, Dheema who relies on LIK app for almost everything tries to check her Love compatibility with Vasu through LIK app... The compatability score comes as 3% ...Since the compatibility score is 3% Dheema breaks up with Vasu believing in the App...Vasu who understands that there is a flaw in the App challenges Suriyan that he will expose the true colors of the App and reunite with Dheema in 30 days. Did Vasu expose the App to public? Did he reunite with Dheema? Was LIK app banned? That's Love Insurance Kompany.
A Romantic Comedy with a Social message. Vignesh Shivan addresses about mobile phone and social media addiction. He also addresses about the possibility of manipulation in Apps that are related to artificial intelligence. Vignesh Shivan addresses about the importance of connecting with heart, nature and people.
