"Simhasanam" was the First Telugu film to come up with 70mm Technology. Telugu Veera Levara was the First Telugu film to come up with DTS technology. Actor Krishna introduced "Cowboy" genre to Telugu cinema through the film "Mosagallaku Mosagadu". Actor Krishna has done many Spy films in his career.
Actor Krishna received Padma Bhushan in 2009 for his contributions to Indian cinema. Actor Krishna received Doctorate from Andhra university. Actor Krishna received Nandi Award for Best Actor for "Alluri Sitaram Raju" film. Actor Krishna received "NTR National Award" in 2003.
