Sathya Dada (Prakash Raj) returns to Bombay from Japan with hands full of Gold along with Ojas Gambheera(Pawan Kalyan) who stands as a shadow and a strength for Sathya Dada. Ojas Gambheera is a Samurai warrior. Sathya Dada builds a port in Bombay and becomes a Don. Sathya Dada is against Drugs and explosives. Sathya Dada treats OG as one of his own sons.

At a point of time, OG leaves Bombay for 10 years. 

In OG's absence, Sathya Dada's opponents consider him as weak and tries to capture the Port. 

A Container containing RDX explosives is shipped illegally. The container belongs to Jimmy(Sudev Nair) who is son of Mirajkar (Tej Sapru). Mirajkar is opponent of Sathya Dada who has eyes on the port and wants to own it. The container was sent from OMI(Emraan Hashmi) from abroad. OMI is second son of Mirajkar. To escape from Navy, the container reaches and lands at Sathya Dada's port. Knowing that the container contains explosives Sathya Dada and his men hide the container from Mirajkar's Gang as they see it as a threat to General public. OMI has connections with Drug Networks and Terrorists networks. Jimmy kills Sathya Dada's son who guards the port. However they couldn't find the container. Slowly OMI, Mirajkar and Jimmy tries to dominate Sathya Dada and his men. Sathya Dada hides the container and escapes to Nashik. OMI has plans for Bomb blasts in Bombay. That's why he wants the container badly as he also has pressure from his boss(Vincent Asokan) who stays abroad. What happens after that? Why did OG leave Bombay? Did OG come back? Did he save the port? Did he save Sathya Dada and his men from OMI? Did he save Bombay from Bomb blasts? That's They call him OG.

Pawan Kalyan has been shown as a Samurai Katana Fighter, Warrior and a Gangster. His makeover is Stylish and Pawan Kalyan has utilised his Karate fighting skills for the role of Ojas Gambheera well. Swag and Stylish!!!

Pawan Kalyan introduction, Interval block sequence, Police station scene, CM meeting scene and Climax are some of the key Highlights of They call him OG. 

They call him OG has references to Johnny and Travelling soldier song from Thammudu which would appeal to Pawan Kalyan fans. 

They call him OG is one of the Best works of Music Director Thaman!!! His Background score is impressive and keeps you engaged. Songs are Good.

As OMI, Emraan Hashmi has performed well as Villain. 

As Sathya Dada Prakash Raj has performed well.

Good supporting role for Sriya Reddy. She has performed her role well. 

Someone who misunderstands OG and tries to kill him. Arjun Das has performed his role well.  

Good supporting role for Harish Uthaman

Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, Subalekha Sudhakar, Tej Sapru, Sudev Nair, Abhimanyu Singh and Vincent Asokan are key performers. 

Jackie Shroff in cameo appearance as Narantak Roy Nandan. They call him OG is part of Sujeeth Cinematic Universe and has connections with Saaho.

Cinematography of Ravi. K. Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa is impressive. 

Naveen Nooli Editing is Good. 

They call him OG has many crowd clapping Mass Moments. They call him OG is Rich and Impressive technically. 

Minus: 1. Emotional elements could have been better 2. Not much of weightage for Priyanka Mohan

Director Sujeeth is one of the Best Directors who is good at making Action films in Telugu cinema. His work in Saaho was Impressive. It would be interesting to see Pawan Kalyan in his Direction. Eagerly waiting for They call him OG.
