 Farzi

Review

A well made webseries that has been made with research and depth.
Directors Raj & DK have handled the subject of counterfeit money well.

Plot: Sandeep aka Artist starts making counterfeit money in order to pay the debts of the Press that's owned by his Grand pa...Sandeep makes fake notes that are difficult to distinguish between a fake and original. Mansoor, a gangster who operates from  Jordan is a big distributor of fake currencies in India...Mansoor is a wanted man... Michael Vedanayagam is in search of Mansoor...Mansoor comes to know about the work of Sandeep and recruits him...What happens after that? That's Farzi

Plus:

1. Screenplay is engaging and realistic.
2. Characters are sketched well
3. Performances are real and natural...Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Zakir Hussain, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra, Kubbra Sait, Amol Palekar, Chittaranjan Giri, Jaswant singh dalal and others have performed well.
4. There are some edge of the seat moments in Farzi...For example, Raashi Khanna visiting the Kranti press scene, Container scene, Parking lot scene, Traffic jam scene etc...
5. Editing is good
6. Pankaj Kumar cinematography is impressive
7. Background score is impressive

Minus:

Farzi is slow moving...Screenplay is stretched and lengthy.

Overall, a well made webseries with Good performances.
