First half was like a Hollywood movie

Second half was like Namma ooru movie

First half: Impressive

Second half: Predictable

Arjun(Ajith) and Kayal(Trisha) are married. 12 years of marriage life. Kayal(Trisha) asks for divorce to Arjun(Ajith). Things were initially Happy and Merry between Kayal and Arjun. However their relationship goes on a sad note after Kayal goes through a Miscarriage. Their relationship doesn't be like how it was in the past. There is a gap and things don't work out well. Kayal also has an extramarital affair which she confesses to Arjun. Kayal wants to Leave Arjun and decides to go to her Father's Home which is in Tbilisi. Since Kayal asks for a divorce Arjun who loves her still, requests her that he would drop her in her Home which is in Tbilisi.

On their way In the gas station Kayal comes across Deepika(Regina) and Rakshith(Arjun) who introduce themselves. On their way a bunch of young guys (Arav and his men) tussle with Arjun. Arjun's car stops in the middle. A Breakdown. They get stuck in a remote place where there is no Mobile Network. Those problematic young guys return back on that Remote road. On the opposite Direction, Rakshith and Deepika come in their truck. Since the car is having a Breakdown and since it would take more than three hours to fix the car, Kayal asks for a lift to Rakshith and Deepika. Rakshith says that he would drop Kayal on the way in a restaurant where later Arjun can come.and pick up her after fixing the car.

Arjun fixes his car and goes to the restaurant which Rakshith mentioned. He doesn't find Kayal there. He sees the truck that moves on the road and chases it. He comes across Rakshith. Rakshith drives the truck as if he doesn't notice Arjun. He doesn't listen to Arjun who asks him to stop the truck. Arjun parks his car in front of the truck and asks Rakshith to get down. Rakshith reacts as if he is seeing Arjun for the first time. Suspecting Rakshith, Arjun calls a cop who comes on the way. Arjun looks for Kayal in the truck and doesn't find her. At a point of time Arjun is attacked by Rakshith, Deepika, Michael and his men who say that Kayal has paid money to murder Arjun. What happens next? What happened to Kayal? Did Arjun find Kayal? That's Vidaamuyarchi.

Plus:

*Ajithkumar performance...Director Magizh Thirumeni has dropped the usual Mass Hero image of Ajith and has presented him as an ordinary man who faces an extraordinary situation. Ajith has performed well as Arjun.

* Negative role with Dark shade for Regina Cassandra and Arjun. Arav as Michael is a Bully. Regina Cassandra, Arjun and Arav have performed their negative roles well.

*Foreign Actors have been utilised well.

* Screenplay had Twists and Turns

*Background score and Songs of Anirudh is impressive

*Terrain of Azerbaijan has been captured well. Cinematography of Om Prakash is Impressive especially in the car stunt sequence.

*Stunts are realistic and has been made well.

* Action sequences have been made well. Especially Car stunt sequence.

*Although predictable, Magizh Thirumeni's Direction was Good.

1. Second half was predictable...Could have been better and much more interesting...

2. அஜீத் வில்லன்களை அடிப்பதை விட வில்லன்களிடம் அஜீத் நிறைய அடி வாங்குகிறார்....அஜீத் கதாபாத்திரத்தை இன்னும் வலுவாக மாஸாக அமைத்திருக்கலாம்

3. There could have more intelligence in the Screenplay, especially in the second half

Overall, Vidaamuyarchi was like watching a Hollywood & Namma ooru film!!!
