Review
Perarasi(Nithya Menon) goes to Karuppu Temple to tonsure the head of her daughter with her Family. Without a legal divorce, she lives separately leaving her husband Aagasaveeran(Vijay Sethupathi) for 3 months. She tries to tonsure the head of her daughter without giving any intimation or information to her husband Aagasaveeran. Aagasaveeran stops the ritual in the middle. Why Aagasaveeran and Perarasi live separately? What is their story? Was the ritual completed in the end? Did Aagasaveeran and Perarasi Unite? That's Thalaivan Thalaivii.
Thalaivan Thalaivii addresses about how the relationship between a Husband and Wife gets affected because of relatives interference. Director Pandiraj addresses about how gaps gets created between Husband and wife because of relatives interference. Rather than a serious tone, the subject has been handled Light heartedly by Director Pandiraj which is a Plus Factor for Thalaivan Thalaivii.
Thalaivan Thalaivii addresses about the problems that arises between Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law and Daughter in law. Addresses about the ego and the jealousy that arises because of a new member into the family.
Comedy works out well.
Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menon are show stealers. Both of them have performed well.

Along with Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menon, Yogi Babu, Deepa Shankar, Saravanan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Janaki Suresh, R.K. Suresh, Kaali Venkat, Sendrayan, Roshini Haripriyan and others have performed well.
Lollu Sabha Maran, Baba Bhaskar, P.L.Thenappan, Arul doss, Chitra Lakshmanan and Kalki Raja appear in small roles.
Background score of Santhosh Narayanan is Good. Pottala Muttaye song is the pick of the album.

Agasaveeran Family especially Mother in law, and sister in law becomes toxic for Perarasi. Why can't Agasaveeran and Perarasi live together separately? A Question arises.
While the Decision to live together tearing the divorce papers is Appreciable, why should Perarasi bear and endure their toxic in laws? A Question arises.
Director Pandiraj addresses about living together as a Joint Family which becomes questionable as Perarasi has to endure her toxic in laws. That's a minus for the film. I don't completely agree with Director's point of view.
Overall a Family cum Comedy Entertainer from Director Pandiraj!!!
