A Supernatural Investigative crime Thriller with a message!!!

Different and Interesting!!! 

A Murder happens in chennai. A girl called Ramya is murdered on her birthday when she returns home. The killer injects a Venomous chemical substance into her body which makes her die and turns her body Black. Mumbai ADGP Dhruv (Vijay Antony) comes across this News. He wants to investigate the case as his daughter was also murdered in the same pattern few years back. Dhruv comes to Chennai to investigate the case.

Dhruv starts the investigation and looks into the CCTV Footages pertaining to Ramya's murder. A Black car passes. Car's number plate is noted. But it turns negative as the number plate is Fake. In the CCTV footages, a guy who runs with a hoody is noted. Dhruv suspects the guy. When enquired Department finds out that the guy's name is Tamilarivu(Ajay Dishan) who is an athlete in swimming. Dhruv takes Tamilarivu into custody and finds out that he is not the murderer. Tamilarivu has eidetic memory and also has supernatural powers where he can take his astral body out to figure out things if he stays in water. Dhruv seeks help from Tamilarivu to figure out the murderer. Meanwhile, series of murders take place in the city. Who is the killer? What is the motive behind the killings?  Did Tamilarivu and Dhruv figure out the murderer?  That's Maargan

Maargan addresses about Racism. Maargan addresses about the Racial discrimination of people and industry towards Black skin. 

Rather than usual crime thriller investigation, Maargan has Supernatural elements like Siddha powers which makes it interesting. 

Screenplay is interesting and Fresh. Good Debut for Editor Leo John Paul as a Director. 

Background score of Vijay Antony is Good.

Good Debut for Ajay Dishan as Tamil arivu. 

Vijay Antony, Ajay Dishan, Mahanadi Shankar and Seshvitha Raju are key performers. 

Minus: 1. Emotional elements could have been better 2. Director's message is good. But the motive behind the murder appears a bit absurd. Aren't Black skinned people successful in life? Rajnikanth, Vijayakanth,  Barrack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Murali, Will Smith, Vishal, Actress Saritha are few examples of black skinned people who are successful in their profession. இது போன்ற கிண்டல்களையும் கேலிகளையும் அவமானங்களையும் கடந்து வந்து வாழ்க்கையில் சாதித்தோர் பலர் உள்ளனர். எனது கருப்பு நிறத்தை கேலி செய்தவர்களை அல்லது அவமானப்படுத்துபவரை நான் கொல்லுவேன் என்று ஒருவர் கிளம்புவது அபத்தமாக இருந்தது.
