Engaging...Impressive Directorial Debut for Keerthiswaran!!! A Fun Filled Romantic Comedy with a message where emotions are connected well in the Screenplay!!!
From the beginning and till the end screenplay was Engaging and Entertaining!!!
Agan(Pradeep Ranganathan), is an entrepreneur who owns an event management company called Dude where he conducts events through Pranks and Surprises. Kural(Mamitha Baiju), Cousin and Friend of Agan falls in Love with him. When she proposes, Agan rejects her proposal stating that he has Zero feelings for her as he hadn't seen her from a Love angle. Kural goes out of station for few months. Few months later Agan realizes that he actually loves Kural. He goes to Kural's home and conveys it to her Father(Sarath Kumar). Wedding of Agan and Kural is planned.
Before the wedding, Kural confesses to Agan that she is now in love with an other guy called Paari (Hridhu Haroon). When she got rejected she was in deep pain and at that time Paari came as a Therapy for her and she is now deeply in love with Paari. Agan burries his Love inside. Agan asks Kural to express it to her Father to stop the wedding. When Kural expresses it to her Father, she comes to know the other side of her Father. He reveals to her that he is a Caste Fanatic who has murdered (Honour killing) her sister 30 years ago and is against intercaste marriage. Agan who sees and hears their conversation comes forward to save Kural stating that Kural has just done a prank on him.
Paari is a coward and is not so brave. He comes to the wedding and gives an idea..He asks Agan to marry Kural like a Fake marriage. Few months later they would escape to abroad and settle there free from Athiyaman Azhagappan. Agan who rejects this idea first later accepts for the fake marriage to save Kural from her Father Adhiyaman Azhagappan who is a Big shot. Agan and Kural get married. Few days later Agan comes to know that Kural is two months pregnant because of Paari. What happens after that? That's Dude.
Dude is a Complex Complicated story. Director Keerthiswaran has presented the Screenplay well!!!
Along with Comedy Director has addressed about Honour Killings...If Intercaste marriage is a shame, then those who consider it as a shame can commit suicide. Why kill someone? Director addresses...

Character Arc of Sarath Kumar has been written well. A Politician...A Good Father...A Murderer...A Caste Fanatic who towards the end changes himself...As Athiyaman Azhagappan, Sarath Kumar has performed well.
Pradeep Ranganthan, Mamitha Baiju, Sarath Kumar, Hridhu Haroon, Dravid Selvam and Rohini are key performers.
Neha shetty, Sathya Akkala and Aishwarya Sharma have done their parts well.
Niketh Bommi Cinematography is Impressive!!!
Barath Vikraman editing is Good.
A Medium budget movie. Production Values are Good.
Dialogues are written well.
Minus:
1. Acceptance criteria could be a Problem for Dude.. Not all may accept the story... Some may even feel like what kind of story is this...
2. Being a caste fanatic is wrong. Agreed. But Agan and Kural are cheating their Family. Is it right? A Question arises.
Overall, A Fun filled Romantic Comedy and an Entertainer!!!

A sad Soup song that reflects the Romantic Heartbreak of a guy. Despite the heartbreak, the guy wishes good life for his girlfriend who is about to get married to an other guy. Tippu, Sai Abhyankar and Mohit Chauhan has sung the song well.

I didn't like the song when I heard it first time. After repeated listenings, I started to like the song. Good one from Sai Abhyankkar. Paal Dabba has written and sung the RAP portions well. Mamitha Baiju has danced well.
