Keerthi's(Aishwarya Lekshmi) coach(Tarak Ponnappa) is jealous of her because she gets more Fame, Recognition and Respect than him. He creates a Ploy that creates a bad reputation for Keerthi's wrestling career. The ploy not just affects Keerthi's career but it also affects her Family life. Keerthi not understanding the ploy of the coach misunderstands Veera(Vishnu Vishal) thinking that he has created a Ploy against her. Keerthi seeks for a divorce. Rest of the movie is about whether Keerthi understood Veera or not. Did Keerthi and Veera got united? That's Gatta Kusthi 2.
Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about the contributions of House Husbands who take care of the Family when wife is the earning member. Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about the egoistic mentality of wives who think they are superior to their house husbands . The point is they don't value or understand the contributions made by house husbands to the Family. Behind a successful man, there is a woman. Similarly behind a successful woman, there is a man. Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about the bonding that's between a Father and a Daughter. The scenes involving Vishnu Vishal and Zara Zyanna were beautiful.
Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about the possible ploys related to Dope test in sports.
Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about the importance of women& children learning martial arts or wrestling for self defense.
Gatta Kusthi 2 addresses about Pampering and strictness in parenting.
Comedy is the key Highlight of Gatta Kusthi 2. Partha(Karunakaran) becomes insecured when Veera(Vishnu Vishal) talks to his wife. Those scenes were made with humour. Karunakaran has performed his role well. Ratnam's (Karunas) male chauvinistic mentality misfires and backfires him. Those scenes were made with humour. Scenes involving Munishkanth were made with humour. Scenes involving Mokksha and Vishnu Vishal were made with humour. Appadi podu song scene was Humorous. Ramya Krishnan appears in a special appearance and steals the show humorously in her style. Yogi Babu appears in a special appearance and steals the show in his style.
Not Just Humour. Gatta Kusthi 2 connects emotionally well too.
As a House Husband and as a Lovely Father, Vishnu Vishal has performed well.
Someone who is strict with her daughter. Someone who loses her reputation in Sports. Someone who misunderstands her husband.Her character carries lots of emotions. As Keerthi, Aishwarya Lekshmi has performed well.
Daddy's chellam. Child Artist Zara Zyanna has performed her role well. One of the Best Performances of this year.
Karunakaran, Karunas, Kaali Venkat and Munishkanth have performed their roles well.
Although their portions are small, Gajaraj and Lizzie Antony have performed their roles well.
Sean Roldan's Background score is a Big plus for Gatta Kusthi 2.

1. Average songs
2. Tarak Ponnappa was under utilised.
3. Only in the end credits scene, Keerthi understands that her coach has betrayed her. It could have come before or during the climax.
4. Although engaging and entertaining, Second half was a bit predictable.
Overall, Gatta Kusthi 2 is Entertaining and Engaging!!!
