Blast Short Review

An Engaging Martial Arts Action Entertainer that has a predictable screenplay where Preity Mukundan, Arjun and Abhirami shine in their performances.

Arjun Chidambaram, John Kokken and Pawan have performed well in their negative roles.

As a cop, Dileepan has performed his role well.

Good supporting role for Vivek Prasanna.

A Karate Master Family encounters a Corporate Monster and his gang. That's the one line of Blast.

Plus:

1. Movie shows Women's Martial Arts addressing the importance of self defense systems and combat skills.

2. Preity Mukundan and Abhirami shine in their performances reflecting Women's martial arts, Women independence and empowerment.

3. Background score of Ravi Basrur was Good.

4. Cinematography of Arun Radhakrishnan was Good

5. Pradeep E Raghav Editing was Good

6. Arjun adds value to the Film through his performance.

7. Stunts and Action sequences have been made well.

Minus:

1. Over a point of time you know what's going to happen. Screenplay is Predictable.

2. Movie appears to be lengthy over a point of time

3. Blast had the Dejavu of Drishyam

4. The emotional bonding between Arjun, Preity Mukundan and Abhirami could have been better

Overall, An Engaging Martial Arts Action Entertainer that has a predictable screenplay where Preity Mukundan, Arjun and Abhirami shine in their performances.
